MY BUCKLER

      Psal 18:2 The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, [and] my high tower. {my strength: Heb. my rock}

      We are soldiers and we need a leader and armor in our life service for Christ. He is our "Buckler". He will ward off the blows which the enemy of our souls aims at us. We need to have a more definite consciousness that, as His representatives, we are in danger all the time. No power on earth can seperate us from Him [except self!], but we need to be girded every day. We need never go to the conflict unarmed if we will keep in fellowship -WITH- Him Who is our "Buckler" and who loves to protect us. He will never fail us if we will put our trust in Him.

      Lord, put Thy protecting arms about us while we fight the good fight of Faith in Thine Army. Amen.
