Isai 54:5 For thy Maker [is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts [is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
Is He not the Creator of the whole earth, of the stars of the heaven, and of all things? Could we live and breathe and have our being without Him? Is He not the Ruler of the whole earth and did He not make all the laws {physical and metaphysical} which we are forced to obey or suffer the consequences of their violation? Yes, there is but one God for Jew and Gentile. How grateful we should be that He has given to us His Word wherein He has Revealed Himself as a God of Love Who paid the penalty of our sins and died that we might live!
Our gracious God, keep us under the shadow of Thy wings this day. Amen.
