Isa 55:4 Behold, I have given him [for] a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is a "A Witness". Yes, He gives a witness to a lost world, and also to us who are His own. He witnessed to the love of God which gave Him, the only Begotten Son, for the sins of the world. And He is the "True And Faithful Witness" (Jer 42:5). He witnesses to the Truth of God's Holy Word. His Testimony is without flaw. His faithfulness is an example for us. We should also be faithful in our testimony. Every step of His life was in fulfillment of prophesy as was also His resurrection.
Our Faithful Witness, help us to bear a loyal and loving testimony of Thy grace and favor to us. Amen.
