Isai 63:9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
How the Lord LOVED Israel! As the "Angel Of The Lord" He ministered to them and saved them from their enemies when they were oppressed and abused. We read in Judges 10:16 that "His soul was grieved for the misery of Israel," and He is afflicted in the affliction of His people. It is so today. Many of the leaders of the professing church are denying Him, and many professed followers of Christ are going with the leaders. He is distressed. His heart is hurt. How sad it is! Let us be true to Him and defend Him.
Lord, may Thy presence be -WITH- us in every trial and may we, in every time of trouble and testing, look to Thee for help! Amen.
