Luke 2:26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.
Simeon believed the Word of God rested upon its Promises. The Holy Ghost came upon Him and made a Revelation to him. He was not to taste of death until he had tasted the sweets of seeing and knowing "The Lord's Christ". The Lord never fails His loved ones. When He can get hold of the hearts of men and women He is glad to make a Revelation of Himself to them and give unto them the Power of the Holy Spirit. His great heart beats in sympathy with every pulsing of every loyal-hearted follower.
Holy Spirit, give us new spiritual visions of "The Lord's Christ". Amen.
