THE SALVATION OF GOD

      Luke 2:30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Luke 3:6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

      The aged saint Simeon, standing in the temple, took the child Jesus in his arms, and, looking into His face, lifted his eyes to heaven and said: "Lord, now lettest thy servant depart in peace, according to thy Word; for mine eyes have seen Thy Salvation." Long had he waited, long had he prayed, long had he desired to see Him. Now the Spirit of God Reveals unto him the fact that his heart's desire had been granted and that he was gazing upon the Divine Saviour of souls, and death had no more terrors for him. There is but one Cure for the world's unrest, "The Salvation of God!" Let us go out today and tell the story wherever we can. The poor, hungry-hearted, sin-sick souls are waiting.

      Lord, guide us in this service to Thy glory. Amen.
