John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
Here is that wonderful scene at the well of Samaria. The Lord has gone out of His way to meet the poor, sinful woman who has come to the well at a time when other women would not come; heavy-hearted, hopeless, but One Loved her with a Holy Love. He is there and reveals Himself as the "Gift of God". He is God's Gift to us. What is our gift to Him? May we yield ourselves, and all we are and have to Him!
May we imitate the Samaritan woman and go forth with the Message: "Come see a Man --- God's Gift!" Amen.
