THE BREAD OF LIFE

      And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

      Answering humanity's cry as embodied in the request, "Lord, evermore gives us this bread," Jesus Says: "I-AM the Bread of Life," i.e., the Life-Eternal-Giving Bread. This reply settles the question forever. He is the True Bread, the Bread of God and the Bread of Life. How is this Bread to be dispensed? It must be made known to an ignorant world. The terms upon which it is to be received must be made clear and definite. "Come to Me!", Says Jesus, "And you shall never hunger! Believe in Me and you shall never thirst!" How simple! The "Life-Gift" is a LOVE Gift! Never put a straw in the way of a hungry sinner! There is nothing to DO but to repent --- believe --- receive.

      Nothing more. Lord help us to go out laden with the Bread of Life and give it to the hungry. Amen.
