"The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from Heaven." 1 Cor. 15:47
The contrast here again is between Adam and Christ. Adam was of the earth. The Lord was from Heaven. The first man was a failure and all men are born in sin and are failures. Therefore, the necessity of a "Man from Heaven." Our eyes are fixed upon Him today -this "Second Man." All men bear the image of the earthy, but to bear the image of the Heavenly, Christ should be their desire. Let us seek by holy fellowship with Him today to reflect His image in this sinful world.
Lord Jesus, help us to walk and talk with Thee today. Amen.
