Our Peace

      "For He is our Peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us." Ephesians. 2:14

      "He is our Peace." Thank God, we have everything in Him. In the poor, old world, we have tribulations, trials, disappointments, sorrows of all kinds, but there never will be a time when we may not pillow our heads upon His shoulder and be at peace. Christ has reconciled both Jew and Gentile and the old wall of separation is broken down. He has reconciled men with God. Remember His words that last night with His disciples: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."

      Blessed Lord Christ, we look to Thee with glad hearts and pray that the peace of God that passeth understanding, may garrison our souls today. Amen.
