"And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering." Ephesians. 5:2
Hear Him speaking that last night, "Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends." What an offering for those disciples who deserted Him that wery night! He became sin for us. He said, concerning the offering of His life, "I have power to lay it down and power to take it up." No man could take His life without His consent, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God.
Lord Jesus, we recognize Thy offering in our behalf. Help us to walk in love as Thou hast also loved us, and may our fellowship with Thee be sweet this day. Amen.
