      GLASGOW, 18th April 1890.
      MY DEAR JANE,
      -I shall try to do as you request.
      I have a list of names-sons of godly parents-who are still 'far off,' for whom I pray from time to time that they may be 'brought nigh by the blood of Christ,' led by the Holy Spirit. I shall put -'s name into the number.
      Pray for me and mine. Tell our great High Priest how 'poor and needy' we are, and ask Him to 'think upon us.'
