"To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you the hope of glory." Colossians 1:27
Here is a revelation not made known in other ages to the sons of men but now revealed by the Holy Spirit to the church. Paul is continually impressing the wonderful truth of God's will as the cause and work of salvation, and the wonderful privilege bestowed upon him of preaching it. This glory which is so wonderful is the garment with which all believers will be clothed when the Christ comes for us. How we should prize the possession of "Christ in us." Do we, and do we long that others might possess it, also?
Lord, give us a hunger for others that they might also be the rich possessors of the Hope of Glory. Amen.
