"God is One and there is but one Mediator between God and man and that is a Man; but that Man -praise God -is the man Christ Jesus. "He is the Mediator of the New Testament" for by means of death for the redemption of men He alone is qualified to act in man's behalf. He loved us. He died for us. Christ is God, but Christ is also the Head of humanity and He alone is capable of filling the position of Mediator. How wonderful He is, and He is all we need.
Blessed Mediator, our Sin-bearer, we open our hearts to Thee as we confess our sins and look with satisfaction upon the blood of Thy atonement. Amen.
