The Express Image of His Person

      "Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person." Hebrews 1:3

      "No Man hath seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him." We have seen the Father for we have seen the Son. We have seen Him, a man among men, eating, drinking, living, working with them. When a seal is stamped upon a piece of paper, we have its exact image. When we see Jesus we see the God-Man -a perfect representation of God, and we see the only God we will ever see. Hold that truth and meditate upon it for awhile, and let the Holy Spirit magnify Christ to you. Thank God, we have seen Him, we know Him, we love Him, we are one with Him.

      Lord, let us bask in the sunshine of Thy love today and mould and fashion us more and more in conformity to Thy image. Amen.
