"Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power" Hebrews 1:3
God is Light. Jesus is the radiance of that light. God is the Sun and Jesus is the Sunbeam. The sun and sunshine are co-existent. We see the sunbeam, not the sun itself, but the rays of the sun. If you break a sun-beam through a prism, you have all the colors. When Jesus was broken on the cross, all of th richness of the glory of God was manifested. He is the express image of the person of God. He is the Upholder of all things. He created all things. He purged all sin. In the hollow of His hand are all things. You can trust all to Him.
Lord Jesus, we thank thee for thy finished work. We rest in Thee. Keep us trustful and faithful until Thy coming. Amen.
