What a difference there is in believers! How timid some are. Is it because they do not know the promises? "The fear of man bringeth a snare; but whoso trusteth the Lord shall be safe." "The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him and delivereth them." Courage of conviction is the crying need of the Christian today -conviction based on God's Holy Word and God's call to service. He hath said, "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." Faith takes hold upon this promise and allows nothing to move it.
Lord Jesus, our Helper, help us to lean hard upon Thy gracious promises and have a joyful life today. Amen.
