A glorious title! Sometime in the future there will be a gathering of all the hosts that have ever lived on this earth, and of the hosts of Heaven, and in their presence will stand One who sill be proclaimed "Prince of the kings of the earth-King of kings and Lord of lords!" The kingdoms of the world are His by right and title, and before Him all must bow. He is Lord of all who exercise authority and King of all who reign. He has not yet asserted His authoritative rights. They are still in abeyance but the day is coming when every scepter will be broken and every crown laid at His feet.
We praise Thee, Lord of hosts, our Savior; we will be with Thee then. Help us to do our best to hasten the glad day. Amen.
