"These thing saith...the Beginning of the Creation of God." Revelation 3:14
There are four headships ascribed to our Lord Jesus Christ. First-of the body: "Head over all things to the church, which is His body." (Ephesians 1:22, 23.) Second -of the race: "Ye are all one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:28.) Third-of the creation: "Who is the image of the invisible God, the first born of every creature" (Colossians 1:15.) Fourth-of every man: "But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ." (1 Corinthians 11:3). Let us seek earnestly to recognize the might and power and authority of our Lord who left Heaven and laid down His life for us.
Oh, Thou Mighty One, Creator of all things, help us to recognize Thee today and to love and serve Thee. Amen.
