King of Saints

      "Just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of saints." Revelation 15:3

      This title is better rendered "King of Nations" or "King of the Ages." What a picture is here! We are standing by the glassy sea, mingled with fire. A judgment is awaiting the nations. Seven angels with the seven last plagues are there. Mark seems to describe this time: "For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created, unto this time, neither shall be." (Mark 13:18.) But there are the harps of God and the song of Moses. The song is of victory over the beast and his image. What a day! What joy for our adored Lord!

      We want to pledge to Thee, today, our loyal devotion, Thou King of Nations. Help us to do Thy Holy will until the coming of "the day." Amen.
