"And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood; and His name is called The Word of God." Revelation 19:13
How can we attempt to embody in a few words what this title demands? John alone uses th term. John says, "without Him was not anything made that was made....and the Word was made flesh." How glad we are that we have heard His Word. We have seen Him by faith. He dwells in us and among us. Clothed in a blood-dipped vesture, He leads the armies of Heaven, including all the saints of the Old and New Testament, to victory. Pity those whose eyes have been closed to the vision of the real Christ and who only have a sentimental conception of Him.
We bow at Thy feet, blessed Word of God, and lift our voices as we sing, "Hallelujah! What a Savior!" Amen.
